Yeah, it's been a little while... I'm still here and there, but I've been busy. Not anything interesting, just stuff.
- Lil man had his Spring Choir show last night, it was really good. He looked so freakin' cute all dressed up in his tuxedo shirt and tie. What a doll. He's quite the looker if i do say so myself! ;)
- School is nearly out, the last day is on May 22nd - except, since they missed 2 days of school for the whole swine flu pandemic they now have extended out the school year by 2 more days. So now they have to go to school on May 26th and May 27th. What a crock. I've found out that all of the grades and everything will still be turned in on the same dates and all they will be doing on those new additional days will be watching movies - I think my kids will not be going to school on those days. How silly is that? Oh well, guess it's some kind of state regulated thing and they have to do it. whatever...
- My family will be coming into town for Memorial Day weekend, I'm really looking forward to that - lots of boating and eating! Good stuff! Can't wait! ;)
- I've found out that I have a herniated disc in my back and this has completely ruled out my running in the Cotton Row run this year - what a bummer. I go see the doctor on Monday to see what we are going to do about it, I think we are talking about getting that epidural shot in the disc and seeing if that works. My back isn't really hurting so much as my legs are, hopefully we can find something that helps... we shall see.
Anyway, i don't know nothing else. :) hope y'all are having a great day. Love ya'!

Hi KelWhy, Nice to see you back !
I like reading about your kids, except it makes me wish mine were young again ! Sorry to hear about your bad disc in your back. As someone who is disabled with degenerative disc disease, I sympathize with anyone who has back problems, because they are so hard to diagnose and treat.Hope the epidural makes it go away.
Talking about cooking out with your family reminds me to ask you,..Do Y'all make a mustard-based BBQ sauce that most Southerners like, or do you like the ketchup-based Yankee Style sauces ?
Happy Mother's Day Kel, Hope you had a nice one !
