It's moments like this...

So, we were watching American Idol last night - their big "Idol gives back" show. They were doing the segment on Malaria, which was just so sad. They were explaining how something as simple as a $10 mosiquito net could protect these kids from the dreadful disease. Alex said, Mom, can I buy 2 mosquito nets for them? I asked him "with your money or with my money?" He said with his money - could he send them $20 to buy them 2 nets? So, we tried to call in all night - but the phone lines were busy. We'll get online tonight and let him send his money. I was just so proud of him for wanting to do something like that - I don't mind him spending his money that way. I think maybe we should match his donation and I'll send in $40 total. If any of you want to match his donation as well - Check out Nothing but Nets website, or the Idol Aid website to donate.
