What a fun night - well, kinda anyway! I got home and the kids and I were packing up a dinner to take with us to the Concert in the Park. Hubby called and said that FuddyDuddy's buddy wanted to meet him out at a fine local establishment for a drink (where more than a mouthful is a waste). I wasn't too keen on this idea, obviously for several reasons... First - I wanted to go to the concerts and had planned on that. Second - I wanted a nice family night. Third - I was craving their wings BAD and didn't want him to have some and not me. (yes, that's the way I roll). So he tells me that it's raining out there and I check the radar - there's green all around our area - so I make the executive decision to cancel the concert and meet him at Hooters. Throw the kids in the truck and we head off.
Had a great dinner there, LOVE their wings and also had some of the buffalo shrimp - LORD that's good. Had a beer or two, or so... not too many and then the kids and I headed home.
Hubby, FuddyDuddy's buddy and Bobby headed out to a local club that has a Comedy night - guess they had fun there - all that I know is Hubby came home in a GOOD mood! Thankfully I was still awake and ... well, nevermind - don't wanna give you TMI! Needless to say, I enjoyed him coming home at a decent hour!
