Monday, monday...

Well now, did y'all have a great weekend? We sure did - and we didn't make it out on the boat even once. Weird shit there...
.. so quick recap here....

Friday night we just - well - can't remember - OH yeah, sat around the house having a couple of drinks - both of us were bored to tears. So somewhere in the night (after several drinks each) we ended up getting into a ridiculous fight - I really am not sure what it was all about. Something about money, him smoking, I don't know - weird shit. So I get all pissy and decide F* this shit, I'm outta here - I don't wanna be around him. (Yeah, I'm a bitch like that...) So I get my shoes on, grab my keys and walk out - I see that my truck is blocked in by his car, so I just walk off. I'm like a little kid that runs away from home, but doesn't have anywhere to go! So, I'm walking around - stewing and it's drizzling a bit. THEN - I realize - I can go to TRICK's house. SURE. So I walk on over there and just make myself at home, since she was still in Boston. Got myself a beer and watched some TV, waiting... just waiting... finally, he called me.
him: "what are you doing"
me: "walking around" as I flip through the channels on her TV.
him: "well, I'd really like it if you came back home - I'm sorry"
me: "I'll be home soon, I'm sorry too"
So I finish the show that I'm watching and head back home. We both apologized and everything was good again - whatever it was that we argued about in the first place! What it all boils down to is - Don't argue when we're drinking - it's always STUPID.

Saturday - hubby went and helped a buddy build a Jungle Gym - they did that all day, then the kids and I went over that the evening to have a fish fry with them. MAN was that good stuff. GOOD STUFF! They fried up some red snapper that he had caught awhile back and some hush puppies, some fries - YUM. Well, my silly ass drank apparently 1 too many of the Ruby Red vodka's with sierra mist. Well, maybe more then 1 too many. We had a great night though - they are good people. We were at Rusty and Nicoles, and also FuddyDuddy's buddy and his wife Kimpossible were there. We sat around in their hot tub, and drank all night. Ended up spending the night there, cuz they live a bit far from us and we were not in the shape to drive. I wasn't feeling so hot then Sunday morning, ended up sleeping in and doing a bit of "praying to the porcelain god" that morning. So embarrassing. sigh.

Sunday, I somehow managed that long ass drive home and went straight to bed when I got there. Hubby laid down next to me for a sec, and the next thing we knew it was 3 hours later. Thank god those kids entertained themselves that long - GOOD KIDS. I ran out and bought some vodka for hubby, some food from Sonic and then we just sat around the rest of the day doing nothing. I did a bit of laundry and that was about it.

Sigh, what a good weekend... and no boating - what's up with that??? LOL! Hope y'all had a great one too - talk to you later!
