So, I'm sitting here at home in Huntsville posting to my blog as my hubby and kids are having Christmas at my In-laws. Yes - it's my sad story. I've sat at the airport for 2 days in a row now - no luck getting anywhere in or around Canton Ohio. DAMN SNOW. There has just been no way of getting up there to them, they were lucky and got in before all of the snow hit. Me? No...had to work, remember? Yeah - that important, BUSY, busy day...whatever. So...now I'm at home, still trying to get up there - not having much luck. I'm booked again on several flights tomorrow - I've been watching the news, but not real sure if I'll get up there or not. And of course, if I do get up there - we have to turn around and come right back, cuz - YEAH - I have to work on Monday. AUGH! Very stressful, depressing day. I just want to be with my family enjoying Christmas. I want to see my kids as they get all of their presents and see that Santa Claus did indeed come to visit them. Meanwhile, however, I'm sitting on the couch, drinking a Corona, just took a Xanax and I guess I'll go to bed soon and just try not to think about it. I hope all of you are having a VERY Merry Christmas and are enjoying time with your family as this holiday is meant for!! Enjoy it, relish it...Happy Holidays!!! I'll be OK I know - just feeling a bit bitter right now. Something will work out, it always does!
