It was 1989, my thoughts were short, my hair was long...

Happy Wednesday to you! Howz it going so far? It's just grand here. sure. Another busy day, but that does help the day to fly by, so it's not all bad! ;) I managed to get out and go running last night. I made lil man run with me - he didn't like it and cried and whined most of the way. We only did 1 mile - you'd have thought I was torturing him in the cruelest way possible the way he carried on! It's ok, he needs to get out and do it with me - he's starting to get a little bit of a tummy lately - gotta run that off! I told him and lil girl both that they have to run with me at least twice a week, once they had to run and once they could ride their bikes or scooters. Neither of them like this deal very much, we'll see how it goes. I would really love for them to run the next 5k with me. I know they could do it easier than me if they just practice a little bit with me, and besides that - having them run with me, makes it easier for me to run! Gives me a bit of motivation sometimes when I am looking for any excuse not to run that evening!

So, what else? I have been in touch with some of the old Chi-Chi's gang from years ago and we are going to try to have a little chi-chi's reunion when FuddyDuddy and I go back to Canton for Turkey day. This should be a blast, I'm really looking forward to it. I worked at Chi-Chi's in North Canton (on dressler) from October of 1991 through September of 1996 (there was a bit of off and on there, but mostly all on). I met my FuddyDuddy there, and we both had so many good friends from there. I've just never worked anywhere else like that - we all were friends there. Everyone hung out together, partied together, whatever... it was crazy, and fun, and I have a lot of great memories from the place. I'm getting excited about seeing everyone again!

I have a lot of memories before I met you at Chi-Chi's. But, after we met - they are all fuzzy. I can't quite make it all out. Except that you were the coolest chic in the joint! Aside from Susan and Lil' Christa that is.

Who are you chating with? Val?

I was wondering the other day what happened to Mavis, Steve Earl, Lori, The chick who named her son, Storm - poor child - what was her name - Tammy? What about Jean Bean? Is it true Kelly Hendershot died? I didn't like her - but I didn't want her dead!

What about Sue Cody? Markie Mark? Shit, did we all have nicknames?

:)

That first part didn't come out right! I meant ALONG with Susie Q and Lil' Christa!

I know what you mean about getting out there, excuses, etc. I'm trying to get the B-Man to ride his bike while I walk/jog with him. Somedays it's easier than others. I need a dadgum treadmill so I don't have any excuses PERIOD.
