Honey, I'm home...

Well, I'm back in sweet home Alabama! For a bit there last Thursday night - I wasn't sure that I was going to make it home on Friday. I was sick as a dawg on Thursday night - not sure if I had some food sickness or what - but something did not sit right at all and I spent all of Thursday evening puking in my hotel room - fun. oh yeah, fun. I did make it and managed to get home safe and sound in Huntsvegas again. That was a long day, a very long day.

In anycase - have you missed me? ;) I missed you too! Really, I did. I had a great visit in Seattle, but it's always nice to come home. What'd y'all do for the long weekend? We kept it pretty low key - not much going on. Quick updates...

• College Football is back! yeehaw! Saturday was a great day to just hang out and watch some good college ball - so that's what we did. My Buckeye's won (of course) but Beanie Wells was injured during the game. I haven't heard anymore on him and whether he's going to play or not in the next week or two. I think that's a bit odd that we haven't heard more on that. Hmmm. I think the Buckeye's will continue to play well, even without him - but it will hurt to lose him. How bout that tide???!! Yes, Bama showed up to play Saturday night! Clemson didn't know what hit 'em! No way, they rolled right on over 'em. Loved it.
• Sunday we headed out on the boat with the seeeemons, just went out on their boat this time. We had a great afternoon, it was really fun. The water was very rough out there, really windy. The handley's were out on their boat and met up with us and we all just hung out and had a good time.
• Sunday evening, we went back to the seeeemons house and grilled out and drank - and then drank some more. Ended up just crashing over there that night since we drank so much - don't wanna risk driving like that, especially with my babies.
• Monday morning we headed home and it was a lazy day around the house. I did some laundry and whatnot, we watched 21 (decent movie) and just kicked back.
• More football Monday night too - we watched Tennessee fall to UCLA - another great game!
• I missed a family reunion back home in Ohio on Sunday - hate that I missed it, it sounded like my family had a lot of fun there. I just couldn't afford the gas to get home this weekend, plus our schedule was all weird with my trip and all. oh well, next time...
