I need some meat on my plate...

So, I was feeling a bit overhung yesterday morning and couldn't quite perk up. My MIL was trying to tell me that I needed some "hair of the dog" - but she couldn't come up with that term... so instead she said ... "you need some eye of the dragon, no that's not right - you need some meat on your plate..." ROFL! So we kept using that all day yesterday - I just needed to get some meat on my plate and then I would feel better! Yeah, well - that still didn't work. Oh well, it was worth a try - I just think the new phrase sounds pretty good - I'll use that again.

So anyway, it was a fun weekend, but went by WAY too fast - as all the good ones normally do. We got our tats on Friday - great experience, I love it. Saturday we did some running around and then went to Bistro la Ville to eat that night! OH YUM! It was as good as always, Fuddy and I split the filet, it was huge - just melts in your mouth. We didn't even need to use a steak knife on it, it was that tender. Man it was good. Sunday, as I said earlier, I was a little worse for wear. Between what I drank on Saturday and trying to get my sugar levels evened out, Sunday was a rough day. We went boating for a bit, but I was just out of it all day. It was a great day to be out there tho - did enjoy the sun.

Now, MIL has headed back up north and we're back to the same ole, same ole stuff. I have running tonight, which is good - I need to get back into shape - I have 20 lbs to lose. We shall see. OK, gonna run - tata for now! ;)

You always have SO much fun with Connie! Why can't I have her as my MIL as well? Can we share?

Crap - that would mean Jeff and Fuddy are brothers.

Crap - can you imagine that?

Nope. I don't want to either!

I'll continue to call you a lucky bitch :)
