then again, don't we always need more? LOL - I would just like a day to rest and catch up from the weekend! I'm beat, just plain ole wore out and need a rest. ;) I left FuddyDuddy at home in bed this morning, I guess he was thinking the same thing and just didn't get up. sigh. I shoulda done that. oh well. Anyway...
Thursday - My in-laws got into town late Thursday night and spent the night with us, we had a really great visit - but it was too short.
Friday - the in-laws left fairly early to head up to Gatlinburg to spend the weekend and we got ready to go boating. So we went out on the boat for a short ride, it was really nice and relaxing. Then we came home and got all packed up to go to the seeeeemons estate for the evening. We had tons and tons of food over there, lots of yummy stuff. It was a really fun night. We ended up staying over there, cuz who wants to drive home after a night like that! There was no way that either of us shoulda drove anyway. So we didn't.
Saturday - We left all the seeeeemons sound asleep in their beds and we headed home. We stopped at cracker barrel for some breakfast - YUM. That really hit the spot. Luckily, I wasn't feeling nearly as bad as I should have for all that I drank the night before - I like those mornings. So, we got back home and I just went right back to bed - got a little nap in that morning. The kids went next door to play with the neighbors and went swimming with them. Then we got out on the boat again and met the seeeeemons and friends out on the river. We stayed out awhile, then headed back in and realized they were doing fireworks that night at Ditto, so we couldn't even get the boat out - it was packed. We tied up to a slip and laid in the boat watching the fireworks, we had the best seats - it was fun.
Sunday - since we left the boat down at ditto, we just got up and went right back out on the river. We just swam and played, and kicked back on the water for a few hours and then came back in, cleaned up and went to some friends house for a cook-out. We ate some yummy foods and the kids swam in their pool for a few hours. We came home and watched Hellboy, the movie and then we all crashed and went to bed.
I coulda used another few hours to catch up on all of that - but I guess I can rest when I'm dead - right? lol - sure. So that's a very quick overview of our weekend, it was a good time. Did y'all have a great weekend? Do anything fun?

I always want another day! I've been trying to convince my boss to go to 4 10hr. days like B'ham - that way we could have a 3 day weekned every week! But he's not going for it...
