I'm getting used to doing a bit more standing than sitting. Sitting is the worst thing that I can do for my back right now, it aggravates it and makes it hurt so much more. So, I'm working standing up. My desk is a cube type desk and it's not really made for standing up - so I'm rigging some stuff up to do this. It's actually working quite well for me right now. I have my monitor tilted up so - that's fine, I can actually look at it without too much strain on my neck. I have my keyboard propped up on a few binders so it's raised to just the right height so that i can type with my arms almost straight down, also good - no strain on my shoulders or neck again. I think this could work, but the problem is - then my feet start hurting. sigh. So then, anyone who knows me, knows that I very rarely wear flats - I generally wear heels, and mostly all pretty tall heels at that. So, as I'm going through my closet to get ready for work I find that I really just don't have any flats to wear. I have flip-flops, and tennis shoes - but no "nice" flats. So, I'm resigned to wearing my flip-flops to work, which are just not really appropriate work attire and I don't really like that. I guess, I'll just have to go shopping and buy a pair or two of flats to wear to work. That's the best thing to do alright, i mean - my back is important! ;) new shoes would help. OK, I'm gonna work with that theory then and go from there. I do hate that tho - heels just accentuate my legs, making them look longer and leaner - I need that help. how depressing. :(
Well, alrighty - i've blabbered on enough this morning. I've got to go and get a few things done - work is more important of course. (whatever).
