Happy day-late fathers day!

Happy belated fathers day to all of you wonderful fathers out there! Did you have a good one? It was just hubby and I this year, floating on the river by ourselves for quite awhile! What a wonderful day! We got out on the water pretty early and just headed down river - it was gorgeous out there - stopped a time or two to play along the way(wink, wink), and just enjoyed the sun and water. I was laying out on the floor of the boat trying to get a tan with no tan lines, ended up falling asleep up there. very nice. Then, we met up with a bunch of friends down near the Decatur side, tied up the boats and ate and drank... then ate and drank some more! A very relaxing afternoon was had by all! We eased back on upriver when it was time to go home, I slept the whole way back up - poor hubby! When we got home we cleaned up the boat, unloaded and such - cleaned the kitchen, and I did some laundry as well. Then we got some showers and laid down to watch "The Maltese Falcon" with Humphrey Bogart, a classic. It was very good, I enjoyed it. After that, we just went to bed. What a day, it was fun and exhausting! Hope you had a great weekend!
