The letter game...

Here are the rules: Comment on this entry and if you'd like to play (or don't - but I'm still doing it!), I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your blog, including an explanation of why you chose it, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

I am choosing (since I started this!) the letter K - for Kelwhy of course...
10 Words beginning with the letter K...

1. Kiss - I think that's a great one to start with. From the sweet little kisses from my kids, to that passionate, slow, deep kiss from FuddyDuddy - they just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside - don't they? We're actually a very "kissey" family, we give kisses when we wake up each morning, as we leave the house (anytime - even for a quick run to the store), when we get home in the evening, before we go to bed - and lots of times in between all of those. I like it.
2. Kindergarten - You know, everything we need to know, we already learned in kindergarten. Things like don't hit people, play fair, take a nap every afternoon and to say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. I remember my kindergarten year - I actually went to 2 schools that year - Northwood Elementary in N. Canton, OH and Goodman Elementary in Cincinnati, OH. I finished up the year at Goodman with a full leg cast on my right leg. ick.
3. Kaleidoscope - I totally LOVE kaleidoscopes! I've always wanted to collect them, but don't even own one. Just to see all of those fragments and pieces of rocks and jewels fall together into a glorious image - wow. And then one simple turn and it's completely new and totally different. LOVE it. Here's an online version - very neat!
4. Kumquats - I've never tried this fruit. It's on my list of things to try - OK, well there isn't an "official" list or anything - but I really would like to try a Kumquat. Maybe I need to go find one, surely they sell them around here - right?
5. Kismet - fate. Do you believe in Kismet? That we all have a destiny or ultimate purpose? Ha - that just reminds me of "my special purpose"!!! In any case, I do believe in Kismet - I believe that things happen for a reason.
6. Kiwi - this is one of my favorite fruits and I just don't get them enough. We like to just cut them in half and spoon 'em out. The beautiful green fruit is so yummy! I like them just a little bit tart.
7. Kimono - these beautiful outfits are like artwork. Incredible. There's even a whole ceremony about getting dressed in a kimono, the Japanese culture is just simply fascinating.
8. Kitchen - I wish my kitchen were more of my "dream" kitchen, but I just love hanging out in the kitchen. I love to cook and create new meals, and doesn't every good party end up in the kitchen? Well, maybe not - but in any case, I do love to be in the kitchen. My dream kitchen would be a gourmet's fantasy! I would have a commercial gas stove/range and a sub-zero fridge. There would be tons of prep room and also lots of "visitor" room. I like to have company while I mess in the kitchen.
9. Knowledge - I have a thirst for knowledge - I'm always trying to learn new things. I think it's important in one's life to keep learning. After all, knowledge is power.
10. Kazoo - that's just a fun word to say - try it - k a z o o - isn't that fun? I don't like to play the kazoo however, it makes my lips tickle. ;)
