I ran across this site and it just got me to thinking... I mean, we all have special songs - Music seems to transcend everything and can bring us back to a time long gone. We have songs that when we hear them bring back some great happy memories, and then there are the other songs that are just... RUINED. You don't EVER want to hear that song again because of what it reminds you of - not because the song is bad itself, I'm not talking about those songs - just the ones that bring you back to a bad memory or time in your life. What songs have been ruined for you? For me, I suppose there are a few - but the first one that jumps out to me is Bonnie Raitt's "I can't make you love me" - sad song as it is, but of course it was playing while my first love Jay broke up with me. So everytime I hear it - it brings me right back to that moment. Also, is... Kenny Loggins "Footloose" this was playing the first time that my parents busted me for smoking when I was in highschool - well, first and only time they busted me - cuz I didn't do it anymore, but still - horrible moment in time! So...
