So, hubby is away on his first ever boondoggle and it's just me and the kids this weekend. He left last night, went straight from work and headed south with Rusty. Tonight the brats both have practices, Alex has a scrimmage and Lauren is cheerleading at the scrimmage - oughta be REAL cute. Then for Saturday, they both have practice that morning and we have some odds and ends to do around the house that afternoon. That night, or late afternoon then we are heading over to Nicole's house (or Macole as lauren calls her) to have a Mexican Fiesta!!! She's making her salsa and I'm making my guac and we're having margaritas and who knows what else. Some yummy stuff though... So I'll be spending the night, cuz there is no way I'll be able to drive that night. The kids are looking forward to it too. Sunday we'll head back home and be lazy and do nothing. Sounds like a good weekend. Not much will get done, but oh well - shit happens! I need to relax first! Not sure if anyone else will come hang with us Saturday night or not - but I intend to have fun regardless!
That's if I ever get through this day here... 4 more hours... sigh...
