for lack of a better word, it SUCKED, absolutely horribly sucked and I cannot wait to do it again! haha! Yeah, what a life! That was just SO fun...
Sat - about noonish met our boating buddies at the local marina, loaded all up on their boat and headed upriver. Taking our time, stopping to swim when we wanted to - eating and drinking the whole way! About 6 1/2 hours later we pulled the boat up right in front of our campsite and tied off. There we continued to eat and drink until we just couldn't anymore!! Slept that night so good - the fly was off of the tent and I just laid there looking at the night sky full of stars - very nice, you just don't get that at home.
Sun - woke up that morning feeling a little slow, but we got everything all packed up and loaded on the boat and headed downriver back home then. Grilled some more food on the boat and drank some more too -why not?! lol! It was a quicker ride home, we trying to get home in a faster time. Unloaded all of our crap at the dock, fueled them back up and they headed further on downriver. I spent the rest of the day on my couch, just relaxing and watching horrible sunday TV.
It was a great weekend, really enjoyed it all! Thanks to Rusty and Nicole for a fun time - can't wait to do it again!
