New Year's Resolutions...

Has anyone made any resolutions this year? I've done it in years past, but this year I've not even begun to think about that. So today, I'm wondering... do I even want to do that this year? How successful have I been in the past with them? Not very that's for sure... Here's what I did for January 2004 - let's see how successful I was...

In the year of 2004 I hereby resolve:
.......to be a more positive and optimistic person. ( This one will be tough, but, I will try...)
Yeah, well - I was for a little bit. That's an ongoing struggle - I mean, we all WANT to be good people right? Sometimes though.... MAN. So anyway - that one I'll keep working on, not so much as a resolution - but as a life change.
...to keep my weight down. Again - good in theory - but.... damn it's difficult with husbands and kids at home. I guess I've managed to keep it down though - not exactly where I want it, but down.
...to flatten my stomach by going to the gym more often. Then, if I get my stomach flat I want to get it pierced. (I just think that is sooo sexy.) Yeah - never even got close, forget about it! I've had 2 kids already, there's NO WAY. I'll have to do something else...
...to finally finish my kitchen. (Painting the walls, redecorating, etc...) WOO HOO - I did this one! We got the kitchen done and it looks awesome! There's one to cross off.
...to start painting and drawing again. And to take some art classes. Well, I did sign up for art classes, but then didn't go to many. As for painting and drawing on my own at home - who has time when you work full time and have 2 kids and a husband to take care of. This one will no longer be a resolution.
...spend more time with my kids playing. I think that I certainly have done this. We try to play games more often and I do spend a lot more time with my brats darlings.
....spend more one on one time with my husband! ;) This one has it's ups and downs, since the car accident back in September - there have been a lot of downs mainly. THIS IS A MUST. My neck is almost all better, I'm losing weight and feeling great - we will definitely be spending more one on one time together. (and I'll take Eddie Murphy's advice from the previous post)
...write letters to my family and friends far away. Never did do this, but... I am on the verge - I re-0rganized my address book, bought some stationary, filled out everyone's b-days and what-not and I WILL DO THIS.
....be more organized! Yep, I've become pretty organized FINALLY. It was a long road though.

So... now then, if you HAD to make just one New Year's Resolution (outside of World Peace of course) what would that be? Let me know!
