So, I've been scheduling and planning - scheduling and planning, when it hits me...why? I should just make this a nice, "come-what-may" trip. So that is now my plan. I mean there is so much to see and do there, I'll just see and do what I can and leave it at that. So here's my plan so far....
Sunday - I arrive around 5ish.
Monday - I have a little bit of work to do in the morning - I could probably get it all done at the hotel though, if they have a high-speed connection. Then the rest of the day FREE!
Tuesday - ISO Audit at our Redmond facility.
Wednesday - ISO Audit at our Redmond facility. Hubby arrives late this night! :)
Thursday - I think we should begin the day by having breakfast in bed.... [wink, wink]. Then, maybe head out to tour some wineries - make a day of it.
Friday - Free day.
Saturday - Free day.
Sunday - Head back to the Heart of Dixie early this morning. Relieve my mom from a week with the brats.
At some point of my trip, I'm hoping to get to meet Egan - a fellow blogger, who of course I've never met before but almost feel like I have. In his latest post, Egan talks about this - this kind of "image" that you get of a person from reading their blogs and how accurate will it be if you ever indeed meet this person. So this will be very interesting I think, I'm looking forward to it. This blog world is so, well - I'm not really sure of the word I'm looking for here - perhaps, surreal. You get to know so many people, from all walks of life, from all over the country - world, even. Yet - how well do you really know them? Are they anything at all like what they post on their blogs? I think that I portray myself pretty much, as myself - of course - I don't delve into any deep personal secrets or anything like that here - to me - my blog is a way to keep in touch with my family and friends that are far away. Anyway - all of that is probably subject for another post that I am just not going to get into today. So, I'll just leave it at - I can't wait to get to Seattle, and I am also excited to meet Egan! There - that's it - I'll talk to you all later!
