Sigh....

I need to come back to work to rest after this weekend.

Hubby had some friends over on Sat morning and they helped us pour concrete for our back porch - they would fill the wheelbarrows from the truck on the street and wheel them around to the back yard and pour them out, while I was spreading the concrete into the forms. DAMN, that is some hard work. Thank goodness those guys came to help, cuz I was about worthless there. I did what I could - but that stuff is HEAVY! But it's done now. SHWEW.

Went boating on Sunday with our friends again, that was fun as always, a great day to be out there on the river, just absolutely gorgeous out there this weekend. Kids had a great time too, and we were all exhausted by the end of it. Came home and sank into the couches, watched a movie and went to bed.

Monday we worked around the house again a little, got some odds and ends done. Grilled out thickburgers last night for dinner - YUM! So good, went and bought Star Wars the Phantom Menace and watched that last night. Was a lovely weekend.

Now if I can get through this week, we'll be doing fine!
