C'mon Katrina...

Man - I've just been fascinated with big ole' Katrina moving on in just as slow as she pleases. I spent most of yesterday planted in front of the TV surfing from one news channel to the next, to the weather channel, just listening to what they all had to say about Hurricane Katrina coming in. She's HUGE - over 400 miles wide, and strong - the winds have died down some since she has hit land, but she's still a Category 4 with winds upwards of 140 mph. I just find it hard to fathom something of that magnitude. Looks like we'll get hit with some of her rain and winds about 7 ish tonight... Hopefully nothing big. The big concern of course, besides the flooding, is all of the tornados that might spin off of her - that's common around here - so we'll have to keep an eye out tonight.
