Long Live...Pope Benedict the 16th...

VATICAN CITY - Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany, a longtime guardian of doctrinal orthodoxy, was elected Tuesday by his peers to lead the church after the death of Pope John Paul II, the Vatican announced. Ratzinger, 78, chose the name Pope Benedict XVI.
