Guest blog: 9 life lessons from software training class

Today I learned a lot of things in my software training class that can be applied to real life.
  1. You can toggle back and forth between as many as six different views, but just try to limit yourself to three for the sake of your processing speed.
  2. If you are invited, then you are in line to get more access.
  3. Adding a regular transaction to your personal folder is a handy way to manage many transactions.
  4. When in doubt, Return!
  5. Notes you write for your supervisor won't transfer to an order.
  6. After you impart 30 minutes of complex, obscure information, then all you have to do is hit Save. Voilà! Unless you get a red warning. And hopefully your information won't float around in cyberspace.
  7. If you create it, you can follow its path.
  8. Test mode isn't really an isolated environment.
  9. There's a slow kid in every class.
And finally, in honour of Kelwhy, I'd like to share one of her better quotes:
"It's in European mode, so it's a little screwy-backwards for us."
