Due to the extremely heavy ship schedule we have in December, product shortages and our end of month being December 31st, we will ship through Friday December 31st. Unless there is a family emergency I would expect everyone here during the week of December 27th - December 31st. Make sure that all MRB items are removed, scrapped or returned to suppliers.
Now, this really in no way at all affects me or my job, but because he's sending it out to the rest of the dept. this includes me as well. I had only wanted to take off the 22nd and the 27th - so now with this memo, I'm seeing...not going to happen. So I send it out, then go in to talk to him to see if I can take off the 21st and the 22nd. He says that doesn't look like it will be possible either!! WTF!? So now I have the 23rd - 26th off of work - 4 days in which I am supposed to be able to drive 10 hours up to Ohio to have Christmas with both families and then back 10 hours to be at work Monday morning the 27th! It's such a headache. But, I guess we do what we have to do...especially when there isn't a choice...
So Trisha girl - unless you make it over to one of the families houses on either Christmas eve or Christmas day, looks like I won't catch you on this trip either! Damn. Ok, that's enough venting for now...don't you all have sympathy for me? LOL.
