Hello

Hope that everyone is having a great weekend so far...this is the last day of it - so live it up! So far I've had an AWESOME weekend. Have you ever noticed that if you do something on Friday nights - the weekend just seems to last SO much longer? It seems to almost double - I LOVE IT. So, hubby and I went out on a date Friday night. We went to my favorite restaurant here in town - MMmmmmm - so yummy. The place is really expensive and we can't afford to go in there as much as we would like, but OMG is it good! Drank lots of wine, had some incredible food and the atmoshpere and service are incredible! I had the spinach salad to start off with, spinach, goat cheese, grilled portabello mushrooms in an apple cider bacon vinagrette. WOW. Hubby had the Crab cakes. Then we split a cheese plate, all of these yummy cheeses with lavash and fruit. Too stuffed for any entrees then! Oh well, it all hit the spot perfectly! They had a singer in there that night too - Marsha Morgan, very nice voice. I wanted to buy one of her CD's but she didn't have any...oh well.

Saturday we spent most of the day Christmas shopping. By some bizarre miracle, my hubby actually even went with me. So that was nice. The kids got to see Santa Claus when we were at the mall, Lauren was a bit leary at first but then climbed on up to his lap and started rattling everything off to him. It was really cute. They also made sure to tell him that they were going to be up in Ohio for Christmas and not at home - so don't forget that and make sure that he comes to the right place. SO Funny! So now we've got some cleaning and stuff to do around the house here today. I just wanted to give an update to everyone while I'm sitting here drinking my morning coffee...thinking a Bloody Mary sounds awful good...Hmmmm? Anyway...
