Woah - Metallica a Hair Band?

NEVER! So, I'm checking out what's going on in Blogland when I run across this on Murph's site. OK - skip to number 2 on that list - number 1 is all about Murph getting noticed at work. I mean that's awesome and all of that - she is quite the celebrity up there! Hell - everywhere, really. But anyway...number 2 - so I'm reading along innocently minding my own business in murph's blog and life...and there it is - her room mate Megan is going to a Metallica concert tonight, no, that's not the shocking part! Man - keep up with me....so she doesn't really know Metallica, so she says:

I’m really not sure what they sing, I just remember that they were one of the hair bands from the 80s that everyone thought were devil worshipers. OH MY GOD! Metallica, a hair band?

Right away - I knew action must be taken! I mean...sacrilege...My favorite Metallica song would have to be, well - OK, can't narrow it down to one song...so here's the top few...

So anyway, I hope the point is well taken and that we all have learned a bit here. I know that I am certainly no expert on Music - but really, how could someone make such a mistake...Well, I hope that I have at least shown a little light on the subject!
