Really? Good! I really need the answers to the following:
- Do the actors on Unsolved Mysteries ever get arrested because they look just like the criminal they are playing?
Yeah - well, not really - in fact quite often the actors have absolutely no resemblance at all to the real criminal, most likely this is to keep this from happening in the first place.
- What if you were to ask a genie to grant you more than three wishes for one of you wishes?
That calls for immediate disqualification and the genie will then revoke all wishes. This is a good, but hard way to learn not to be greedy.
- Why is it that when adults have multiple personalities it's schizophrenia, but when a child has imaginary friends it's cute?
Well - in my opinion, it's just a bit freaky no matter what age you are. I mean really a kid talking to an invisible friend is NOT right, that is just plain weird...the stuff that horror movies are made from! An adult talking to an invisible friend well - just stay away from them. Not to be confused with an adult talking to themselves however - that's fine.
- When people say, "I’m so tired it's not even funny" or "my head hurts so much it's not even funny", why would it even be funny in the first place?
You have no sense of humor...I mean really, think about it - just a slight headache - Freaking hilarious! God, makes me chuckle now just thinking about it...hehehe...and the tired part! WOW - now that is humor! But as in all things, there is a fine line...when you get too much of a good thing, well you know - that will generally spoil it. Then it is just not funny anymore.
- Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them?
Absolutely not, this little law is strictly adhered to. They are allowed to see their own shots - but not in order, so they don't even know what the movie is about sometimes. Now, however, if it is an R movie they will be allowed to come see it as long as they are accompanied by a parent or an adult guardian - if it is an NC-17 movie - no way jose!
- When French people swear do they say pardon my English?
Some English-speakers stereotype the French as permissive about anything risqué. This was particularly true a hundred years ago when the phrase took off as an "apology" for swearing. "Excuse my French" or "Pardon my French" isn't just play-acting that you're speaking a foreign language. It's also a bit like saying, "I know those words are naughty - but maybe I could get away with behaving like that in
France, where people are more tolerant of obscenity." So, NO, the french do not say that.
