A quick little history...

So, it was around 1993. I was working at Chi-Chi's - Belden Village in Canton Ohio. This was an awesome place to work at the time! I was going to school full time at Kent State University, dating Steve, and having a blast! It was one of those places that everyone got along. We all hung out together, we worked together, we partied together and a lot of us slept together...but that's another story! Anyway...So, Tricia started working there - somewhere around '93 anyways...maybe a bit earlier...Well, she was friends with one of the "odd" girls. So, we really were not sure about her...watch what you say around her - cause we don't know what she is like yet! :) So, then Steve and I got engaged - that was December of 93. She had just gotten engaged as well and we were both starting to plan our weddings. That's when we became fast friends. We just clicked and hit it off from the start! There was actually 3 of us - Me, Trish and Susan. We were very close friends - but somehow - Trish and I were more alike...had more in common...I got married in '95 and at the time of my wedding, they were my best friends. Even though neither of them were in my wedding. How odd is that? Well, when we set the wedding and party and all of that - we really weren't hanging out. Then we did...but it was too late to change it. I remember on my wedding day - I was fine, not nervous at all...I walked into the back of the church holding my dad's arm - no prob! This was a piece of cake - then I turn the corner and the first people I see in the jam-packed church is Susan and Tricia - looking at me, smiling and a little teary eyed...I lost it. It just hit me so hard...I really had to grip on to my dad to make it up the aisle.
So here we are 10+ years later and Tricia and I are still fast friends. She is surely one of those fair and foul weather friends. That's a great thing to know. I don't keep in touch with any of my other friends from Ohio - I tried for a long time...but eventually just gave up. It was always a one way connection - they never tried to keep in touch with me. Oh well, again, you learn who your friends are. So, that's how I met Trish! Just a little bit of history...I don't know if any of you cared - but you know what? I don't care if you care! Again, I am only here to amuse myself!
Thank you!
