What a weekend...

It was just absolutely gorgeous here! Saturday and Sunday - just wonderful. Saturday, I worked out in the front yard, planting more flowers. Steve worked on his car all day on Saturday - washing and waxing it. Trying to cover up some of the scratches and dents. Alex got invited to a movie with a friend, so he went to go see Scooby Doo 2 and then went to the park after that. That was soo cool. First time he's been invited on something like that. He's getting to that age now - I love it. He wants to have a couple of friends over and have a slumber party - I think we will try to do that in a few weeks. Should be fun! So anyway, I planted geraniums (red) all across the front porch and then some cilantro and basil at the corner. I also bought some more basil, cilantro and mint and planted that out in the "big" garden out front. Lauren wanted a pink flower so I bought some gerber daisies for her. Then I slept on the couch for about an hour....nice.

Sunday, Steve went over and started on grandmother's pool early in the morning. I joined him soon and started working in the yard. I got the rose bed all weeded and started on the cactus garden. I hate working in the cactus garden - always get pricked! OUCH! So anyway, we worked out there for quite a bit, then I took the kids home. They were having an open house there and I didn't want the kids hanging out. Steve stayed and finished the pool. We ordered Outback for dinner - that was nice...mmmmm. I love Outback. We were so exhausted last night then, just went to bed and watched TV. We are sooo exciting! Anyway, got alot done this weekend and I feel good about it. I even got a bit of sun on my arms. Not so Casper looking now. Still very pale though...Oh well, what can you do? Hope everyone is having a good day!

Talk to you later!
