Been caught stealing...

Yeah, so I go out this morning, getting the kids in the car to take them to school. I look down and notice that the hand lotion that I normally keep in the center console is on the floor - hmmm, that's weird - oh well, and I pick it up and put it away. Then as I'm putting my purse down and go to set my cell phone down I notice that the ashtray is pulled out and all of the change that was in there is gone. What? So, I stop hubby and ask him - did you take the change out of here for some reason? No...hmmm... So, I'm looking around the car now, I notice that my CD's are all re-arranged - looks like some are missing, upon closer inspection - nope they are all there (guess I have bad taste in music). Hubby starts poking around in his car and sees that all of the quarters were taken out of his center console - oh, but there's a flashlight left on his front seat. His XM radio is still sitting there, his Ray-Ban's are still sitting there...weird. So these "mastermind" thieves came and stole approximately $3.00 in change from our cars and left us a nice little flashlight, that yes - still works! I think that we made out in that deal! But what a feeling to know that someone was pawing through all of my stuff out there - again, not that they took anything of value, and it could have been worse...but MAN, that's just so annoying. So, guess I really need to start locking the car at night. Guess so...lesson learned...
